Imperdível : dia 22 de fevereiro, no The Palms , o legendário Pinetop Perkins !!! Uma oportunidade excepcional para ver um grande bluesman tocando ao vivo, no casebre do Blues, aqui em Davis, Califórnia! Wowwowow!!!!! :-)

A nota que o The Palms divulgou diz:
"At 87, Joe Willie "Pinetop" Perkins is widely recognized as the world's best blues piano player and one of the last great Mississippi bluesmen. He created a style of playing that has influenced three generations of piano players and will continue to be the yardstick by which blues pianists are measured. This master of boogie woogie began playing piano in 1942 with Robert Nighthawk. and later joined Sonny Boy Williamson on the King Biscuit Radio show before settling down in Chicago. National recognition came after he replaced Otis Spann in the Muddy Waters Band in 1969 helping shape Waters 70’s sound with his terrific piano work. This evening he will be accompanied by The Rusty Zinn Band."
